Overview

No day will be the same. As a direct report to General Counsel you will be immersed into a varied and exciting role. You will advise both internal and external clients, giving vital legal advice that will enable client teams, support services, boards and committees to execute their responsibilities with confidence.

You will be an essential foundation pillar that facilitates continued growth and new development. A new chapter is being written and your skills and experience will be essential to success.

Areas of Responsibility:
Corporate
  • Advise on numerous points of Irish law in relation to the corporate and commercial activity of clients
  • Review, negotiate and draft important legal agreements and contracts that include but will not be limited to licensing agreements, assignments, SLAs, NDAs, nominee agreements, certificates, powers of attorney and indemnities.
Banking
  • As a trusted service provider, our client will need you to review client contracts in relation to loan agreements, security arrangements, banking documentation and facility letters.
  • Provide expert legal advice to internal clients as to their legal obligations in regards to financing arrangements.
Trusts
  • You will provide essential legal advice to trustees in areas such as distributions, winding up or resettlement.
  • Vital support and guidance will be given to trustees as they execute their responsibilities connected to various transactions.
Internal
  • The expansion of our client’s business will require the ideal candidate to be involved with cross border activities. There will be a willingness to support the business in any way necessary to achieve team goals.
  • In regards to third party service provider relationships, you will review and negotiate contracts, agree confidentiality documents and review supplier contracts.
  • You will prepare internal reports and inform the business in regard to legal risk management.
  • The right candidate will not shy away from collaboration with all teams within the organisation. You will provide legal support and guidance that will facilitate success for all areas of the business.
What Our Client Needs From You
  • 4-6 years PQE with a well respected firm.
  • A proven track record within banking, commercial and trust.
  • An analytical approach to client focused solutions, being able to deliver clear and comprehensive advice.
  • An ability to work effectively within a team and also be motivated to act on your own initiative.
  • The chosen candidate will have confidence in their ability to communicate effectively and be pragmatic when challenging the norm.
  • Our client operates globally and as such, the successful candidate will be adept at managing related complexities.
  • Interacting with board members and senior management will be built on excellent drafting, reporting and presentation skills.
