Job Description

Our client is seeking an Education Solutions Specialist to join their dynamic, results driven Sales Team. The successful candidate will be integral to shaping the future of successful adoption of digital in educational institutions. They will be driven to succeed, have a passion for sales and building long lasting relationship with schools and the education community.

Generous package with significant commissions and accelerators on offer for the successful candidate. This role is a mix of face to face and remote customer engagement and as such the candidate can be based anywhere in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key decision makers in schools and
educational institutions within your assigned territory.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges in order to provide
personalised assistance throughout the consultative sales process.
Identify opportunities and develop solutions in line with schools’ digital strategy.
Own, manage and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue and margin
targets.
Identify, Onboard, Enable and Develop schools from your territory.
Identify opportunities to roll out devices for all children in a year group (1:1
programs).
Develop, manage and close pipeline created from lead generation, customer
meetings and events.
Ensure all customers are provided with accurate, proposals, collateral and other
information as required.
Maintain an agreed level of proactive contact daily with customers.
Meet and exceed agreed performance objectives, KPI’s and sales targets.
Ensure CRM and other systems are up to date to record all communications.
Face to face engagement with the customers as well as utilising the many alternative
methods we use for communication.
Work closely with the wider Team for alignment of goals and objectives.
Assessment and completion of Public Tenders.
Present insights back to the business on how schools are adopting digital in your
territory.
Identify new products/solutions that our client can develop for the education sector.
Attendance at conferences throughout the country, in a vendor capacity.
Ad hoc projects/tasks/duties as directed.

Requirements

Working in a fast paced, dynamic environment the successful candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Have at least three years’ experience in a consultative sales environment.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
    • Be self-sufficient, organised and able to manage own workload.
    • Be confident and articulate in all methods of communication, both written and
    verbal formats, face-to-face and remotely.
    • Be adaptable, a quick learner and committed to ongoing learning and professional
    development.
    • Experience in the education and/or Tech sector will be an advantage.
    • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Teams and
    Dynamics.
    • Full, clean driver’s license.
